Disadvantages of Internet Marketing?
A lot is said about the potentials and advantages of Internet marketing, but is there really no downside to it?
Actually, there are downsides. Here’s a list of what I can think of (in no particular order):
- Procrastination
- Lack of face-to-face interaction with real human beings (and not bots)
- Not being able to show sympathy for your friends who have to wake up before sunrise to catch the bus/train to work
- You may never know how it feels to have a boss
- Unless you choose to rent an office, you become a prisoner to your own home. If you have an office, you become a prisoner in that office.
- Staring at the screen the whole day doesnt really develop your inter-personal skills. You may end up becoming an introvert in real life.
- You may never understand the meaning of “i’m broke” or “i’m in debt”
- Be sure you take a break from work or your eyesight will deteriorate

Despite these disadvantages, I won’t give up Internet marketing. I see the potentials in it and I’m determined to keep moving forward.
